Florida Licensing
Florida Mold Assessor — MRSA #3646, Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Mold assessment is regulated under Chapter 468, Part XVI of the Florida Statutes, and performing or offering mold assessment without this licence is prohibited. Verifiable in the DBPR public licence search.
Certifications
5. Cleaning and Restoration
Soot removal, deodorization, textile and upholstery cleaning, hard-goods cleaning, and specialty items handled by the appropriate method.
Standards We Work To
ANSI/IICRC S500
Standard for Professional Water Damage Restoration. Governs water category and class determination, drying goals and documentation.
ANSI/IICRC S520
Standard for Professional Mold Remediation. Governs containment, removal criteria and clearance conditions.
EPA guidance
Mold Remediation in Schools and Commercial Buildings, and indoor air quality guidance.
Naming the standard matters. "Follows industry best practices" cannot be checked. A named standard can.
Laboratory Analysis
Samples are analysed by an accredited lab. Analytical methods are named in every report along with detection limits, so results can be interpreted rather than merely read.

Why the Assessor and Remediator Separation Matters
Florida Statute 468.8419 bars a mold assessor from remediating a structure it assessed within 12 months, bars a remediator from assessing what it remediated, and prohibits referral fees in either direction. Our independence is both a legal requirement and a deliberate business position: our findings are not a sales document.
